The Effects of Internet Use in the Classroom on Reading Comprehension, Metacognitive Awareness, and Motivation

The primary objective of the current study is to investigate how internet use in classroom conjunction with metacognitive instruction affected students' awareness, reading comprehension, and motivation. 40 pupils were randomly chosen from two eleventh-grade courses at Novin high school Tabriz, Iran and split into groups as follows: (a) experimental group called – received along use; (b) control teaching a regular class. findings indicate that although motivation towards English foreign language was significantly by environment, their awareness comprehension not affected. results present have some implications for syllabus designers, curriculum developers teachers.
